PAN-Livestock services is an independent consultancy company, established in 1980, specializing in livestock development. The company is based in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development at the University of Reading, close to London in the south of England. PAN Livestock Services' activities are aimed at improving the circumstances of livestock producers and consumers of livestock products through more appropriate and effective livestock services and management. PAN Livestock Services works closely with VEERU, the Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics Research Unit of the University of Reading (UK). This collaboration produces an

Environmental Research Group Oxford (ERGO), Oxford, United Kingdom, is a company established in 1985, which specializes in applied research for sustainable development and provides a broad spectrum of advisory services relating to environmental assessment, natural resource management, project implementation and technical back-stopping, including: independent reviews, resource surveys, biodiversity studies, GIS applications, image processing, spatial analysis, rural appraisal, monitoring and evaluation.
Avia-GIS established jointly with ERGO a European economic interest grouping: European Agro-Environmental Health Associates (Euro-AEGIS). The aim of this grouping is to join forces into submitting and implementing projects related to the application of remote sensing and spatial information systems in the field of 'health and environment'.
